My Story
API2GETHER was launched by Christophe MAIGNAN in January 2023.
After obtaining a DUT in Civil Engineering in 2003 at the IUT of Rennes, Christophe strengthened his experience in various engineering firms, where he specialized in the establishment of formwork and reinforcement execution plans, overall design phase plans, as well as in the preparation of quantities and analysis of bids.
He joined the Legendre Group in 2012, where he received training on the Allplan software as part of the Rennes metro line B project.
Particularly curious about the possibilities offered by this tool, he consolidated his skills and knowledge, while sharing his discoveries through blog articles.
In 2016, Allplan released its Python API, thus opening the way to script design and task automation. Aware of its strong potential from the beginning, Christophe tirelessly invested in improving his expertise.
In 2018, he joined Vinci Construction France, where he had the opportunity to develop his skills in the field of BIM (Building Information Modeling).
2019 marked a turning point in the history of PythonParts API with the deployment of the no-code interface : VisualScripting.
In 2020, he joined Milon Isolation and shared all his experience to support the company in its transition to BIM.
